STARSDelete your STARS account and data
This page explains how to delete your STARS account, what happens to your data when you do, and how to remove individual content without closing your account.
Delete your account from inside the app
- Open the STARS app and sign in.
- Tap Profile in the bottom bar.
- Tap the settings (gear) icon in the top right.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Your account and its content are removed immediately. This cannot be undone.
If you can no longer sign in
Email us at tericestars0@gmail.com from the address on your STARS account, with the subject “Delete my account”. Tell us your username so we can find the account. We verify the request and delete the account within 30 days, and we reply to confirm when it is done.
Delete some data without deleting your account
You do not have to close your account to remove content:
- Posts and events — open the post, tap the ••• menu and choose Delete.
- Stories — these expire automatically 24 hours after you post them.
- Profile details — clear your bio, photo, location, website or social links in Edit profile.
- Notification token — turn off notifications for STARS in your device settings and we stop storing it.
For anything else, email tericestars0@gmail.com and tell us what you want removed.
What is deleted, and what is kept

| Activity — likes, follows, bookings, saves, notifications | Deleted immediately |

| Live replays you recorded | Deleted immediately with the event they belong to |
| Safety reports you filed about other accounts | Kept without your identity for up to 12 months, so moderation decisions already made can be reviewed |
| Server security logs (IP address, timestamps) | Kept up to 90 days for fraud and abuse prevention, then deleted |
Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis and any residual copies are gone within 30 days.
